TERMS OF SERVICE
Welcome to the GnasherShells terms of service page!
By commissioning, you acknowledge and agree to all of the following terms and conditions:
All characters to be drawn are over the age of 18 regardless of physical appearance, the way they act or behave, source material, lore, backstory, or the situation in which they are depicted in
Any and all commissioned work, past or present, does not reflect upon the artist's own personal beliefs or moral views
The artist reserves the right to decline or ignore certain inquiries and is not obligated to respond to low quality, spammy, or belligerent requests
The artist also reserves the right to not post commissions publicly and is not obligated to if asked
The artist may shift prices depending on the project if needed
Completion times are not set in stone and may be changed around if and as needed
Failing to comply with any of these terms and conditions will lead to the cancellation of the project regardless of the progress made (if any)
PAYMENT
Payment will ONLY be accepted via Paypal invoice or through SubscribeStar pledges (in some cases)
You will be charged in full upfront to ensure that the artist receives full payment
Constant or excessive changes to previously agreed upon work will lead to extra fees
The invoice will only be sent after both parties agree on the commission idea and final price
Failing to pay the invoice within 24 hours will cause your commission to be cancelled and ignored for good
Express/rush fees will be applied for tight deadlines (if any)
REFUNDS
Commissions are nonrefundable after payment has been made unless I can't start or finish the commission for whatever reason. A full refund will be issued in that case
Post-nut clarity does not grant you a refund. You can choose to go through with it or cancel it altogether. So don't blow it (literally)
COMPLETION TIMES & DEADLINES
Time to complete may depend on other concurrent work, burn out, or personal responsibilities
Certain commissions may take several days, weeks or even months to complete (to avoid these entirely, you may pay an express or rush fee if you need something done within a tight time frame)
The artist reserves the right to pause or delay commissions depending on overflowing work, art block, burn out, or personal responsibilities
CLIENT OBLIGATIONS
No “helicoptering” (overbearingly watching over and asking for unnecessary and excessive round-the-clock, hour-to-hour updates) This may garner negative results and lead to me refusing to work with you in the future
Please have your idea fully ready and laid out with clear instructions and good reference pictures (if any) Low quality message requests like "hi" or "hey" will be skipped entirely
Please refrain from sending unnecessary or irrelevant instructions and or details
Failing to provide certain key details and or clear instructions may lead to the final piece not turning out the way you envisioned it
Please do not try to sneakily insert new additions to the already agreed-upon work after payment has been sent. I know when you're doing it
Please include everything you wish to be added in the commission (alts, backgrounds, etc...) from the very beginning if possible so I can plan and price it accordingly. Failing to do so may lead to delays or additional costs down the line
HOW THE PROCESS WORKS
1. SKETCHING STAGE:

A rough sketch will be drawn to map out the pose(s) or scenes. After it has been approved, a more detailed sketch will be drawn (faces, musculature, etc.)
2. COLORING STAGE

After the sketch has been fully approved, it's time to go in and add colors and show where the shading will go. Upon approval, the final rendering/touch ups will begin
3. FINALIZATION STAGE

The finalized work will be sent out. Any small and last minute changes may be applied if needed. If not, you're all set! You will have 24 hours from then to request any major changes (extra fees will be applied of course). If you miss that window, it will be marked as 100% complete and no further edits can or will be made without fees
The full resolution commission may be emailed, sent over Discord, or through site specific DMs (image compression may occur so I recommend any of the other 2 options)
